TEHRAN Jan 14 (Shana): The 5th Specialized Oil Industry Exhibition of Khozestan Province kicked off today in Ahvaz south of Iran.
More than 200 domestic and foreign companies have put on display their products in the exhibition including oil, gas, refining, petrochemical and drilling equipments.� �


A number of high ranking officials from state oil companies including manager directors of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) and National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) as well as representatives of companies manufacturing oil industry parts and equipments took part in the inaugural ceremony.


The number of participating companies in the oil show rose by 35 percent this year, of which 46 percent are local companies. The exhibition runs for five days and wraps up on Friday.
As the largest oil exhibition after Tehran Oil Show, Ahvaz Oil Exhibition is an appropriate venue for state and private oil companies to conclude various contracts on oil industry parts and equipments including gas turbines, gas compressors parts, drilling parts and so on. �
