Zarif calls for Lebanon?s aid to Iranian team of investigators

Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Adnan Mansour, called for Beirut?s cooperation with Iran?s dispatched team to Lebanon to investigate the terrorist act in front of Iranian embassy in the Lebanese capital.

Zarif made the remarks while pointing to a plan by Iran?s Justice Ministry to dispatch a team to probe the terrorist attacks on Iranian embassy in Beirut.


The Iranian foreign minister deemed as important the unity among all Lebanese groups, and said, ?It is necessary that all countries should confront the supporters and perpetrators of these ominous phenomena more than ever in line with preventing the continuation of violence and terrorism as well as radicalism.?

The Lebanese foreign minister, for his part, condemned the recent terrorists act in front of the Iranian embassy in Beirut, and stressed on the need for following up the bilateral agreements.
