Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA - Vice Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mansour Haqiqatpour said here Monday that Takfiri terrorists cannot damage Tehran-Baghdad cooperation.
Condemning the recent terrorist attack in Iraq that claimed lives of 15 Iranian nationals in the city of Khanaqin in Diyala province, the MP underlined that Takfiri terrorists are trying to weaken the Islamic Republic of Iran.


He underlined that the Takfiri terrorists should be aware that such actions will not affect Iran-Iraq ties.

According to reports, gunmen shot dead 18 Iranian and Iraqi workers working on a pipeline project near the village of Balad Ruz, situated 90 kilometers (55 miles) northeast of Baghdad. Several people were also injured in the attack.
