According to The Iran Project,The 39th Fajr Music Festival resonated with the melodious tunes of Rajasthan as Rahis Bharti and his ensemble took center stage, showcasing the universal language of music that transcends borders.

The 39th Fajr Music Festival featured a mesmerizing performance by an Indian group. Rahis Bharti and his ensemble presented "Songs of Rajasthan," enchanting the audience with the vibrant music of the region. Despite a modest turnout, attendees were captivated, staying till the end with enthusiasm.

Rajasthani and Qawwali music were the highlights of the concert, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency before his performance, Rahis Bharti shared insights about his musical journey and the essence of Rajasthani music, saying, "I started music at the age of 6, inspired by my family's deep musical roots spanning seven generations. I am committed to promoting authentic Rajasthani music globally, preserving its beauty for future generations."

Rajasthani music, characterized by percussion instruments, authentic vocals, and dance, reflects the vibrant cultural tapestry of Rajasthan.

Bharti expressed openness to experimenting with different orchestrations, adding, "Performing Rajasthani music with various orchestrations can create new dimensions and enrich its essence. Collaborations with flamenco, African music, and fusion orchestras have been enlightening experiences, bridging cultural gaps."

"Master Shajarian's voice is truly inspiring and deeply resonates with me. It's an honor to perform at a festival where his legacy is celebrated," Bharti said, expressing admiration for Iranian music, especially the legendary vocalist Mohammad-Reza Shajarian.

When asked about musical similarities between Iran and India, Bharti highlighted rhythmic patterns, instruments, and mystical elements he said that Iranian and Indian music share common threads, especially in their mystical approach that create a beautiful fusion when explored together.

For the Iranian audience, Bharti promised a performance that transcends borders and religions by “conveying the message of unity among all cultures and religions."
