According to The Iran Project,  Samad Hassanzadeh, who accompanied President Raisi on his Turkey trip, made the remarks at the Iran-Turkey joint meeting of economic activists.

The meeting was held with the presence of Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President, Samad Hassanzadeh, the chairman of Iran's Commerce Chamber, and a group of economic activists and officials of the two countries in the AK Saray Palace in Ankara.

The deep, cultural, religious, and historical relations between Iran and Turkey and the good neighborliness of the two countries have been able to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially in the commercial and economic fields, Hassanzadeh stated.

Still, the volume of relations between Iran and Turkey is low compared to the capacity and capabilities of both sides; But with the efforts of high-ranking officials of both countries to strengthen relations based on solid and reliable principles, it is possible to improve and develop the level of cooperation, he added.

Referring to hitting a target of 30 billion dollars for the future exchanges between Iran and Turkey, he noted, "This figure is more than twice the current volume of trade between the two countries, which must be worked hard to achieve." he said.

We, as representatives of the private sector, need to be more determined than before, take serious steps and the best measures in the development of relations between the two countries, he concluded.
