According to The Iran Project,  Hassan Kheirianpour made the announcement at the first West Mazandaran Development Conference on Friday.

He declared that an Arab investor has invested in a project named Dehkadeh Salamt (means Health Village in English) in Ramsar city of Mazandaran province.

“With this project, there will be 5 flights per week from Arab countries to Ramsar International Airport,” the deputy governor said.

He stated that Mazandaran province enjoys a significant amount of variety of capacities that exist in a few provinces.

However, we face some challenges in the province that must be planned to resolve it, he added.

If we want economic growth, it would be possible through two measures of developing investment and increasing efficiency, he said.

Kheirianpour went on to note that investment growth is on the province's agenda, and last year, to this end, a conference on investment opportunities was held with the cooperation of the governors of three cities.

In this conference, 102 cases of investment opportunities in various fields, including tourism, handicrafts, industry and mining, agriculture, and infrastructure affairs were presented with an investment forecast of 900 million euros, he underlined.

He further described the investment opportunities in the west of Mazandaran as one of the axes of development.

If we are looking for 8% economic growth, we will have to develop investment, he concluded.
