Iran's FM due in Kuwait, UAE

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian is set to visit Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.






The visits will be made in the framework of his regional tour.

At the head of a political delegation, Amirabdollahian had already visited Qatar and Oman and discussed issues of mutual interest with the officials of the two countries.

In addition, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian had traveled to Qatar and Oman to discuss bilateral relations as well as major regional and international developments with the neighboring countries officials.

AmirAbdollahian left Tehran for Doha late Monday on an official invitation from his counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who is also the prime minister of Qatar.

During his visit, Irans top diplomat is accompanied by a delegation consisting of the foreign ministers assistants, a member of the Iranian Parliaments Committee on Foreign Policy and National Security, and the Foreign Ministrys spokesman, Nasser Kanani.

The Iranian foreign minister and his delegation arrived in Muscat on Tuesday evening.

In a post on his Twitter account, Amirabdollahian described the promotion of relations with neighbors as a fundamental pillar of the balanced foreign policy of Iran.

The neighbors of Iran enjoy significant economic, trade and political capacities, he wrote.
