IRNA - President of the Talysh Diaspora group believes that Commander of the IRGC Quds Force Major General Qasem Soleimani is one of the most influential military commanders in world.


Speaking to IRNA on Wednesday elaborating on conditions in the Middle East, Ismail Shabanov said Major General Soleimani is seriously influencing the political procedures of the Middle East namely Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He added that Soleimani�s presence brings victory and he has a good analysis of the political and military conditions in the region.

He went on to say that the US achieves its goals in the Middle East by taking advantage of terrorist groups.

US secretly supports terrorist groups, Shabanov reiterated.

He noted that terrorists receive order from the US and due to their aim to attack Iran, sometimes they conduct terrorist attacks on Iran.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Russian expert described Iran policy in the region as realistic, saying today Iran is the winner the Middle East.

Russia is interested in stability in Iran and considers Iran�s stability as important for southern parts of Russia, Ismail Shabanov said.

He stressed the fact that Russia has never been after weakening Iran, adding that weakening Iran will be harmful for Russia.
