MNA Iran National Science Foundation hosts Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting of the Global Research Council at Parsian Azadi Hotel on Wednesday morning.
Germany, China, Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand and South Africa attend the Meeting, discussing 'Effectiveness of Research' and the 'Role of Women in Research', the director of International Relations at the IranNational Science Foundationsaid on Wednesday.
He added that the two-day Meeting also provides regional feedback on the best practices for assessing the effectiveness of research in China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Japan.
The Global Research Council is a virtual organization, comprised of the heads of science and engineering funding agencies from around the world, dedicated to promote the sharing of data and best practices for high-quality collaboration among funding agencies worldwide.
On 12 February 2018, the Governing Board of the Global Research Council selected the host organizations for the five Regional Meetings which is being held around the worldin 2018 until early 2019.The provisional dates of these meetings are below.
