Tehran Times- The value of exports from Iran�s free trade zones has witnessed a 30 percent rise from the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016), compared to the same period of time in the past year, a deputy at the secretariat of the Supreme Council of Iran�s Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones announced.
According to Mehdi Bazargan, the country�s value of exports from the free trade zones has increased to $850 million in the mentioned period, IRIB reported on Friday.
The official noted that the figure for the last year�s exports was reported to be $650 million.
�It is estimated that by the yearend (March 20), the annual exports from the free trade zones will register a 29 percent rise compared to the previous year,� he added.
