Iran, Czech vow to broaden economic cooperation

IRNA Head of Iran-Czech Parliamentary Friendship Group Mehdi Farshadan said on Tuesday that there exists huge potential for expansion of economic and commercial cooperation between Iran and the Czech Republic and their officials should help remove the existing barriers.


Farshadan said in a meeting with Czech ambassador to Tehran Svatopluk Camba on Tuesday.

Referring to good parliamentary relations and cooperation between the two countries, Farshadian said parliamentary friendship groups play significant role in bolstering and broadening ties and cooperation with the two sides.

Given huge economic and commercial potential in both countries, he said the Iranian Majlis supports joint investment projects in various industrial sectors.

The two sides should spare no efforts to ease economic transactions between the two countries, he said.

Czech ambassador, for his part expressed satisfaction over exchange of various commercial, economic and economic delegations and said the policy helps upgrade bilateral relations and cooperation.

Czech Republic welcomes Iran's cooperation in the renewable energies, recycling, management of water resources, agriculture and auto manufacturing industry, he said.

Easing visa formalities can help the two nations have a better understanding of each other, he said.

Czech Republic welcomes expansion of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
