Shana -- First Vice-President Esahq Jahangiri said completion of phase 11 development project of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field is in line with the policies of Economic Resilience instructed by the Leader.

Addressing a session of Resistive Economy ?Administration Headquarters on Monday, the official hailed signature of heads of agreement (HOA) documents with domestic and foreign companies for development of South Pars 11 project, saying such moves are highly valued by the administration.
He said such moves would ensure transfer of the latest technologies to the country while tapping domestic potentialities.

The world's biggest natural gas field, South Pars is jointly owned by Iran and Qatar in Persian Gulf waters.

Jahangiri stressed the necessity of entrusting the private sector with the development of half-finished projects in the country, saying the administration of President Rouhani seriously considers this strategy as a fundamental necessity.
