TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) � Terrorists from ISIL and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as the Nusra Front, are trying to derail the Syrian peace process with continued missile strikes at the government positions, the Russian military said Tuesday.
A nationwide ceasefire, brokered by�Moscow and Washington, came into�force in�Syria at�sunset on�Monday. If the truce holds for�a week, Russian and US air forces will begin coordinated airstrikes at�Daesh targets.
"A total of�21 strikes at�the government's positions and civilians have been registered in�Aleppo province, Damascus, Hama, Idlib and Darayya since�the previous day," Russia's Defense Ministry said in�a statement published on�its website.
The Russian reconciliation center for�Syria said militants had shelled the district where the Aleppo governor resides.
