Tehran, Feb 15, IRNA Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said Iran is following up the case of Iranian asylum-seekers in Belgium.
Speaking to reporters at his weekly press briefing on Monday, Hossein Jaberi Ansari said the country put the case on the agenda as soon as it was declared.
The final result will be released to media, he said.
Elaborating on Iran's policy about asylum-seekers, Jaberi Ansari said if the Iranian nationals who have sought asylum for any reason, want to return home, they can do so after Iran's consultations with the officials in the target countries in order to prepare the ground for their return.
Iranian representatives are also following up the case in Belgium, he added.
