TEHRAN, Dec. 02 (MNA) � �The Other�s Father� directed by Yadollah Samadi won two top prizes at the 10th Children�s India International Film Festival.

Directed by Yadollah Samadi, the Iranian flick won Best Screenplay and Best Child Actor awards at the 10th edition of Children�s India International Film Festival.

Mehdi Yar Azizi won the Best Child Actor Award for his brilliant performance in �The Other�s Father.�

The film depicts the life of 6-year-old Shahab who is still unable to speak at his age, and his only communication is with his mother. While others taunt him for being mentally�handicapped, Shahb retaliates by hurting them, thus causing problems for his family.

The 10th�Children�s India International Film Festival was held from 22-26 November, 2015 at Mangalore, Karnataka.
