Ayat. Yazdi: Dispute over JCPOA should not amount to enmity

TEHRAN, Oct. 08 (MNA) The head of Assembly of Experts has called all disputing parties on the issue of JCPOA for unity and avoiding hostility.

The senior cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi said during his seminary session on Wednesday that JCPOA had proponents as well as opponents. However, he issued some caveats that the dispute over the deal should not amount to open hostilities among different parties, and called all parties to refer all issues to figures who are expert and authority in that particular issue, in that case, the Leader of the Islamic Republic.

With Leaders general call for avoiding disunity and factionalism, no political player would openly challenge the Leaders general demand; let the engaged authorities work on the issue; any discord and difference of positon should be referred to parliament and other government bodies, Yazdi quoted the Leaders famous remarks on general convergence on the issue.

Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, who is also the Secretary General of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, ensured the political spectrum of the Revolution that in no circumstances would the Leader give in to conditions which would damage national interests; difference of positions on the JCPOA should not escalate to open hostilities; if even parliament has an act, it should be approved by the Guardian Council, where the expediency of the system will definitely be the first priority, said the senior cleric. I have read JCPOA and am aware of any concessions given and trade-offs; the nature of trade-off dictates making some concessions or hitting some points; however, this is the expert to judge the difference between these two, Yazdi indirectly addressed the disputing factions on the JCPOA.
