Tehran, August 16, IRNA - Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Ala'eddin Boroujerdi warned the US is implementing a policy of disintegration of regional countris to implement its Greater Middle East plan.

Speaking at the commission's Sunday session, the senior MP lashed out at recent remarks by a top US military brass on the necessity of disintegration of Iraq.
'Daesh was created by the US based on a calculated plan which aims at the Greater Middle East and disintergration in the region. Therefore, Americans are floating the idea of Iraq's disintegration.'
He also condemned remarks by Turkish officials on establishing a buffer zone in northern Syria bordering Turkey and said it is another strategic mistakes of Turkey.
'This is contrary to interntional rules, specially the principle of respecting sovereignty of states. It is expected that Turkey adopts a policy that helps stability and security in the region,' he added.
