The first meeting of heads of tax administrations of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) member states is being held in the Iranian capital of Tehran, the Iranian news agency IRNA said today.
According to the agency, issues having an interest for ECO members including the issue of intensifying cooperation in the tax area will be discussed during the two-day meeting.

Representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran are attending the meeting.

The Ministry of Taxes told Trend that deputy minister of taxes Sahib Alakbarov and head of the Ministry of Taxes' department on foreign relations Metin Kerimli are attending from the Azerbaijani side.
