The representative of the United Nations Childrens Fund in Iran, Ezio Gianni Murzi, has hailed the countrys Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare for its fight against different forms of child poverty.
He viewed cooperation between his organization and the Iranian government as effective and said: To clear the hurdles in the way of childrens education and implement timely interventions, the reasons why they are kept out of school should be detected first, adding that the move needs close collaboration between the two ministries of education and labor.
UNICEF is ready to help other nations take a leaf out of Irans book, given the countrys considerable achievements in improving childrens welfare, he added.
