Tehran, May 5, IRNA -- Government Spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht underlined that Iran has clear stance vis-�-vis the Yemeni crisis and the Saudi-led aggression against that country.




'Big historical oppression is happening in Yemen before the eyes of the world people and the defenseless people of Yemen are being massacred; the clear stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards this tragic event has been expressed on numerous occasions, especially by President Rouhani,' Nobakht told reporters in his weekly press conference on Tuesday.

The government spokesman pointed to Iran's plan for resolving the Yemeni crisis, and said, 'Iranian foreign minister has travelled to each of the regional countries and as you saw Pakistan that once was thought to join Saudi Arabia in aggression on Yemen adopted a correct stance as a result of Iran's active diplomacy.'
