A deputy energy minister has said Iran has drawn up a new plan to raise its electricity exports to 25 billion kilowatt hours a three-fold rise in three years.
Hooshang Falahatian further said the new comprehensive plan, which is in line with the countrys resistance-based economy, envisions creation of an optimal structure for developing Irans trade in electricity in the long run.
He added the new structure calls for more participation of the private sector in energy export plans.
