Tehran, April 5, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that ideals set by the late Imam Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei were embodied in the nuclear talks held in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
Speaking in televised program Saturday evening, Zarif referred to the newly-ended nuclear talks as complicated, conceptual and difficult.
After eight days of intensive and tough negotiations, Iran and members of the Group 5+1 (US, Britain, Russia, France and China plus Germany) reached an understanding in Lausanne on April 2. The document laid the ground for them to start drafting the final nuclear agreement.
We have achieved our objective in the nuclear talks, Zarif said stressing, US can no longer impose its demands on the Iranian nation.'
