Irans Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani[/caption]Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that Tehran spare no efforts to back Syrian government and nation under current circumstances.
Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with Syrian ambassador to Iran Adnan Mahmoud.
Iranian Majlis follows up the ongoing developments in Syria sensitively, he said.
Ties between the two nations are deeply rooted, Larijani said.
Iran calls for continued friendly and sincere relations between the two nations, he said.
Syrian ambassador, for his part, briefed Larijani on the latest political, regional and international developments and thanked the support made by the Iranian Majlis, government and nation to the Syrian nation during all ups and downs.
