Tehran's provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani underlined that the ongoing wargames in the Southern parts of Iran show the integrity of the Iranian Armed Forces in confronting enemy threats.
Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people on Tehran University campus on Friday, Ayatollah Emami Kashani said, "Another example of Iran's integrity and might is being manifested in Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) wargames."

Ayatollah Emami Kashani reiterated that Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) maneuvers is useful for the region's security, and said, "This military drill proves that the enemy cannot think about aggressions."

Different units of the Iranian Army's Ground Force, Navy, Air Force and Air Defense started six days of massive joint military drills in the Southern and Southeastern parts of the country on Thursday.

The military exercises codenamed Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) will cover an area of 2.2 million square kilometers from the East of the Strait of Hormuz to the Southern parts of the Gulf of Aden.

The Islamic Republic of Irans might will be displayed in joint wargames, named Mohammad Rasoulallah, by the Armys Ground, Naval and Air Forces and with the support of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced on Tuesday.

Sayyari said the Naval Forces would use different types of military equipment and weapons in the exercises to show Irans power in water.

The Iranian commander added that various types of warships, destroyers, submarines, missiles, aircraft and helicopters would be used in the drills in a show of Iran's naval might and power.
