MP: Negotiating team expected to reject Sextet’s blackmail demands

Tehran, Nov 4, IRNA – Nuclear negotiations continue within the framework of safeguarding national interests and Iranian negotiation team is expected to reject global oppression side’s blackmail demands, a Tehran Constituency Parliament member said here Tuesday.
The Parliament’s Supervision Affairs Deputy Hossein Mozaffar who was speaking with the press on the sidelines of the November 4 rallies on the anniversary of the 1979 occupation of the US espionage den (embassy) said that since the nuclear negotiations are closely related to the national interests it is quite natural that they should be led observing the redlines and preserving the national interests.
'Since the highly-learned leader of the revolution has from the very beginning especially safeguarded the national interests and heeded the country’s expediencies precisely, the frameworks that are important for His Eminence must be heeded in these negotiations,” he said.

Asked if he thinks the final nuclear agreement needs to be achieved keeping in mind the Parliament’s viewpoints, he said that the parliamentarians believe the agreements cannot be achieved ignoring the national interests.

“The negotiating team should keep in mind that in nuclear talks they should heed the national interests, the revolution's ideals and the Supreme Leader’s orders,” he said.

“They should also beware not to be nearsighted and to reply negatively to the blackmail demands of the global oppression front,” he added.
