TEHRAN Oct 29 (Shana)--Iran has earned nearly USD 27 bn from exporting non-oil products and techno-engineering services during the first five months of the current calendar year which started on March 21, a recent customs report said. It said Iran's exports and imports were almost up 20% and 24.70% year-on-year, respectively.
Furthermore, the size of the country's imports stood at 30 billion dollars and was mainly from China, south Korea, India, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
The main exported items were liquefied propane, methanol, liquefied butane, bitumen and film-grade polyethylene.
The main destinations were China, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and India.
The imports were mainly wheat, internal combustion engines, rice and soya bean oil cake. By SHANA
