TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Agricultural Jihad Minister Mahmoud Hojjati and his Armenian counterpart sergo Karapetyan voiced their willingness to pave the ground for the further promotion of the bilateral ties.
In a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday, the two ministers discussed new avenues for promotion of mutual cooperation on scientific and research studies.
They also discussed transfer of Iran's technological know-how to the Armenian side in irrigation and modern slaughterhouse industries.
The minister also exchanged views over trade and shipment of agricultural products between the two countries.
Iran and Armenia have taken major strides towards widening and deepening of their relations in recent years, particularly in the economic sector.
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrive in Iran on Monday night to confer with senior officials of the country on the ways of developing all-out ties.
