Iranian filmmaker Ebrahim Hatamikia?s ?Che? will be screened in Canada.
Thursday edition of the English-language newspaper Iran Daily quoted producer Ali Sartipi as saying the film will debut in Toronto on July 4, 2014.
He hoped that Iranian nationals in Canada will enjoy the film, and said, ?We also plan to screen it in the US.?
?This film is about Chamran, Asghar Vesali and the people of Paveh in Kermanshah province,? Hatamikia earlier said.
?Che? narrates events of one day in the life of wartime hero and first post-Islamic Revolution defense minister, Mostafa Chamran.
The cast includes Fariborz Arabnia, Merila Zarei and Babak Hamidian and Saeed Rad.
The movie won several awards in the 32nd Fajr International Film Festival in February 2014. They were given for the best supporting actor, best editing, best visual effects, best special effects and best sound recording.
