Iran develops satellite jointly with APSCO

TEHRAN, May 28 (MNA) � Iran has proposed joint training sessions with Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization to be held.
Jalal Anvar the APSCO head had visited Iran to attend the International Workshop on Management of Space Programs and visited Iran�s Space Organization and Iran University of Science and Technology Research Center.

The Workshop was held jointly by Iran�s Space Organization and APSCO on May 17-26. Dr. Hamid Fazeli, the head of Iran�s Space Organization commented on the objectives of the visit.

�The APSCO delegation visited the University�s Research Center infrastructure in research and capacities in space. They also will visit universities active in developing satellites including Amir Kabir University of Technology,� he added.

�Dr. Hossein Bolandi the head of University Research Center proposed that a bilateral and trilateral agreement be signed by Iran�s Space Organization, APSCO, and the University to hold joint training session in MS and PhD,� Fazeli said.

Fazeli also said that similar agreements had been signed by APSCO with Chinese Space Organization to train APSCO member states� students.
