TEHRAN (FNA)- A unit of the Syrian armed forces on Tuesday clashed with an armed militant group that tried to attack a military checkpoint at the entrance of Mourk town in the Northern countryside of Hama province.
SANA quoted a military source as saying that the clashes resulted in the killing of 20 militants, most of them from Kuwait and Egypt.
The source added that another army unit killed all members of an armed militant group and destroyed two cars loaded with weapons and ammunition and with two heavy machine guns mounted on them in the villages of al-Arshouneh and Rasm al-Khirbet in the Eastern countryside of al-Salamiyeh in the province.
