According to The Iran Project, the Iranian Minister of Communications announced that Sorayya was placed into orbit by Qaem 100 satellite carrier in 11 minutes.

The satellite carrier, which uses solid fuel,  has been manufactured by the Aerospace Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Qaem 100 is a domestically-built satellite carrier capable of putting satellites weighing up to 80 kilograms into orbit 750 kilometers from the earth's surface.

The carrier placed a research payload with an approximate mass of 50 kg into a low Earth orbit (LEO)
in its third test launch, setting a new record for Iran's space launch.

The communications minister said it is the 10th space launch of Iran.
Iran had previously tried to place the Zafar satellite in a 530-kilometer orbit but failed due to problems with the satellite carrier.
