Islomaphobia has been deeply infused into the American populations psyche, says a political commentator.
Kevin Barrett, a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance, made the remarks in a Wednesday interview with Press TV, while commenting on the recent murder of a Lebanese-American man, apparently mistaken for a Muslim by his Islamophobic neighbor.
Stanley Vernon Majors, 61, was arrested in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, after the shooting death of his neighbor, Khalid Jabara, a Christian with Lebanese origins deemed by Majors as a Muslim.
The fact that the 37-year-old Jabara was not a Muslim doesnt matter very much, according to Barrett, also a founding member of the Scientific Panel for the Investigation of 9/11.
Were living a world of mythology, he said, referring to the public myth created on September 11, 2001, following terrorist attacks on the US soil that ultimately infused Islamophobia deeply into the American psyche.
Barrett noted that Majors is just the latest in countless and growing number of Americans who have become murderers and rapists, just like members of the US military in the Middle East and elsewhere who are not very different from this guy.
In order to stop this, we need to reveal the truth about what really happened on 9/11 and the series of false flag operations that followed.
Jabaras family released a statement after his death, suggesting they have been under constant threat by the neighbor.
