TEHRAN, July 13 (Shana) � Installation of an emissions monitoring system at Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery, for controlling gas emissions at the facility, is 95.5% complete, an official at the facility said.

Khavar Sangari, director of the HSE department of the refinery, has said the system will monitor the facility's gas emissions from 5 chimneys online and in a constant fashion in a push to preserve the nearby environment.

The refinery is a leading one in Iran in installation of such equipment for preservation of the environment, he added.
