TEHRAN, May 31 (MNA) � In a message cabled on Monday, President Rouhani felicitated Vietnamese counterpart on his re-election.


Addressing President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tr?n ??i Quang in a message, Dr. Rouhani expressed hope that the two countries� ties be further deepened and developed.

�I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on your re-election as the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," Rouhani�s message reads.

Expressing satisfaction with friendly ties between Iran and Vietnam, Rouhani hoped the two countries witness continuing and growing relations in all political, economic and cultural fields.

�I wish for the health and success of you, as well as prosperity and happiness of the people of Vietnam,� he concluded.

New President Tr?n ??i Quang was sworn into office in April after 91.5 per cent of the total National Assembly (NA) deputies elected him to the position by a secret ballot, vietnamnews reported.
