TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Kuwait's Charge d'Affaires to Tehran over a conference held in the Arab country which was attended by counterrevolutionaries backed by foreign states.
"Hosting such conferences in that country (Kuwait) is a blatant instance of the violation of the recognized international principles and norms, and it contradicts good neighborly relations," a foreign ministry official said in a meeting with Kuwaiti envoy while conveying Iran's strong protest.
The Kuwaiti envoy was asked to convey Iran's protest to his government.
Kuwait recently hosted a conference attended by a number of counterrevolutionary Iranians living abroad.
