TEHRAN Oct. 7 (Shana) � Esfahan Petrochemical Company (EPC) exported more than 43 million dollars of petrochemical products in the first half of the current year (March 21-Sept 22), the firm�s CEO said.

�Biannual exports amounted to 43.168 million dollars which build up 70 percent of our output,� Hamid Sotudehfar said.
The Petrochemical Commercial Company (PCC) also announced it exported 2.48 million tons of petrochemical products valued at 1.629 billion dollars during the March 21-Sept 22 period.

In addition to provision of the proper feed, investment is required in the purchase of new equipment to boost the industry�s production, it said.
