Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, heading a high-profile politico-economic delegation, arrived in Tehran on Friday evening.

The two-day visit of the Venezuelan president is at the official invitation of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

Official welcoming ceremony at Saadabad Historical Complex, holding meeting with the Iranian president and a joint meeting of the two countries' high-level delegations are on Maduro's agenda.
