IRNA - The permanent representative of Russia in international organizations, including the United Nations in Vienna, announced that the US anti-Iranian sanctions are illogical, in a way that Americans cannot justify their actions.


Mikhail Ulyanov said to RIA Novosti news agency on Monday, �Americans cannot give a satisfactory answer to criticism about this.�

The Russian official said that Iran would be free from restrictions on the voluntary nuclear domain over time, and it is in accordance with the NPT Agreement, in which each country's undeniable right to peaceful use of nuclear energy is accepted.

Ulyanov noted that the United States should accept this right, as emphasized in the NPT, while the United States is moving against the current and pushing Iran through sanctions, sacrifices the benefits of the non-proliferation regime (nuclear weapons).
