Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday thanked the Supreme Leader for acknowledging the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

President Rouhani thanked the Supreme Leader in a letter a day after the Supreme Leader acknowledged the approval of a bill presented by the government to the parliament about Iranian government's reciprocal and proportional reaction to the western governments in the process of implementation of the nuclear deal struck in Vienna on July 14.

The Supreme Leader gave fresh guidelines for implementation of the nuclear deal including supervision of the the Supreme National Security Council in stage-by-stage implementation of JCPOA.

In his letter, the president said that the acknowledgement of JCPOA by the Supreme Leader marked a new chapter in Iran's upward movement, underlining the significance of the guidelines of the Supreme Leader about implementation of JCPOA.

Rouhani reaffirmed Iranian commitment to fully implement the JCPOA with good faith.

He assured the Supreme Leader about honoring the guidelines for implementation of the deal.

The president said that the Iranian government will closely monitor reciprocity of the western governments in the process of implementing the nuclear deal and the sanctions system must no longer exist.
