Chinese FM welcomes settlement of nuclear dispute

Vienna, July 13, IRNA Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on settlement of the nuclear dispute dating back to 13 years ago.

Upon arrival at Palais Coburg for meeting with his counterpart, Wang yi said, 'We heard your speech. We expected you reach agreement on July 12. You said the talks will not be extended after July 13 which was a positive message. Absolutely, I believe there should be no extension at work but we can work as long as needed to reach settlement.'

The photographers in the area expected more words on part of the Chinese top diplomat but they were told talks between the two ministers have started.

The US Secretary of State John Kerry has yet kept silent before the US reporters who have asked him on possibility of extension of talks.
