Iran signs a contract to export gas to Oman

Muscat, March 12, IRNA Iran and Oman signed a contract on Wednesday under which Iran agrees to supply Oman with natural gas.
The contract was signed as part of the agreements envisaged to reach during President Rouhani?s visit to Muscat.

On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Iran?s Oil minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh told reporters that the contract followed long talks and meetings held with his Omani counterpart in Tehran.

Zangeneh said that during a visit to Tehran by Oman?s Sultan Qaboos seven months ago, the two sides drafted the agreement to export Iranian gas to Oman.
