
The Aleph website reports on Saturday that a number of cities across the country are allowing access to Facebook.
Abdolsamad Khoramabadi, the deputy Prosecutor General, told Asr-e Iran on Sunday March 9: The Ministry of Communications is the executor of the orders issued by the Working Group for Determination of Criminal Content, and any negligence of these orders will be an offence.
The Rohani administration has been vocal in its support for lifting the ban on Facebook access in Iran; however, the Working Group for Determination of Criminal Content, which is comprised of representatives from various government bodies, has so far rejected calls for a review of its policy regarding Facebook.
