'End of attacks on Gaza will restore stability in Red Sea'

The Iran Project : Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani has emphasized the importance of maintaining maritime safety in the waters of the Red Sea, asserting that only by ending attacks on Gaza can suitable conditions be created to restore stability to the Red Sea.

According to The Iran Project,Bagheri Kani made these remarks during a meeting with Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu in Beijing, according to a Friday report from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting with Ma, he stated that Tehran believes that the Israeli regime’s attacks on Gaza must cease as quickly as possible and that Tehran opposes imposing any solution on the Palestinian people.

Furthermore, Bagheri Kani expressed Tehran’s willingness to resolve Iran’s nuclear issue through political and diplomatic channels. He expressed hope that all relevant parties would demonstrate sincerity and commitment to their obligations.

Bagheri Kani also mentioned that Tehran seeks to strengthen communication and coordination with Beijing to promote peace and stability in the regional and global context.

Acknowledging Tehran’s efforts in maintaining relationships with relevant parties, the Chinese diplomat affirmed China’s unwavering support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), adding that China actively advocates for a political resolution to Iran’s nuclear issue.

Regarding the situation in the Red Sea, Ma attributed the current state to Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.
