According to The Iran Project,The days of the week to celebrate women’s status are named as follows.

The first day is called ‘Women, awareness, resistance, martyr Soleimani’s school of thought’.

Thursday is called ‘Women, spirituality, chastity, Iranian-Islamic identity’.

Friday is ‘Women, role of motherhood and childrearing’.

Saturday is ‘Women, science, culture, research, and technology’.

Sunday is ‘Women, social participation, and the role of managers in governance’.

Monday is ‘Women, self-reliance, influence, and development’.

And Tuesday is called ‘Women, hygiene, sport, and health’.

Women of influence

According to the organizers of the congress, a woman of influence is a dynamic and active woman who does not give up trying, while maintaining her feminine spirit and playing an effective role in the family, she makes great achievements.

Successful and influential Iranian women in the fields of culture and art; education and training; discourse making and media; social activities; economy and entrepreneurship; research and technology; politics and governance; and sports can participate in the congress, IRNA reported.

Moreover, in the evaluation of female entrepreneurs, general indicators such as their role in influencing others, maternal role-playing, hard work, and their national or global effects, will be taken into consideration, Ensieh Khazali, the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, said.

This year, resistance is one of the central issues of the congress due to the coincidence of the event with the martyrdom anniversary of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, and the ongoing events in Gaza.

It should be noted that the congress for women of influence was held for the first time at both national and international levels. Its national level was held on January 17, and its international level was held on January 20.

The First International Congress for Women of Influence was held in Tehran with female guests including wives of heads of state, ministers, vice presidents, and parliamentarians from Burkina Faso, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Guinea, Niger, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkmenistan, and Armenia.

‘Women of influence’ showcase achievements

An exhibition showcasing the achievements of successful Iranian women was held on the sidelines of the First International Congress for Women of Influence.

In this exhibition, the achievements of Iranian women entrepreneurs in various fields such as electricity and electronics, medical equipment, technology, innovation centers, and home businesses were on display.

In this regard, 900 female CEOs of knowledge-based companies have been identified, 100 of them were selected as the best in the field of science and technology, and finally, the top 50 participated in this exhibition, ISNA reported.

Guests from 28 countries, including Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, Pakistan, Cameroon, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Austria, Kazakhstan, and Canada visited the exhibition.

The event aimed to appreciate women of influence, support and help them grow, and promote their creativity and ideas. Women in various sectors, including science, research, innovation, economy, healthcare, art, photography, painting, society and environment, law, and media participated in the congress.
