According to The Iran Project, the Iranian-made MAP30 cargo locomotive was unveiled during a ceremony on Monday in Alborz Province in the presence of Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister Abbas Ali-Abadi and CEO of Mapna Group.

Iran has unveiled its first domestically-manufactured locomotive diesel engine with 4,000 horsepower, placing itself among the countries enjoying such high-level technology.
