According to The Iran Project, The Joint Caspian Sea Search and Rescue Exercise, "CASAREX 24," kicked off on Monday morning with the participation of all five littoral states of the Caspian Sea.

A large-scale naval exercise, codenamed the “Caspian Maritime Rescue, Relief and Security 2024”, got underway in the Caspian Sea, involving military forces from Iran and Russia.
