Iranian short animated film Dad’s Fragile Doll directed by Ali Zareh has entered the film competition lineup of the international animation festival of Brazil, Anima Mundi 2014.
Zareh’s creation is a screen adaptation of renowned Iranian writer Hushang Golshiri’s My Fragile Doll.
The film narrates a young girl who reconstructs events leading to her father’s imprisonment and execution using dolls her mother has made.
Dad’s Fragile Doll was recently presented at the Green Film Festival in Seoul (GFFIS) in South Korea.
The international competition will take place in Brazil's second largest city of Rio de Janeiro from July 25 through August 10.
