TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Iranian freestyle wrestlers on Monday traveled to Astana, Kazakhstan to take part in the Asian championships.



The 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from April 23 to 27.

Iran will take part in the tournament with nine wrestlers in eight weight categories.

65kg: Ahmad Mohammadi
70kg: Mostafa Hosseinkhani
74kg: Reza Afzali
86kg: Meisam Mostafa Jokar and Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian
97kg: Hamed Talebi Zarrinkamar
125kg: Komeil Ghasemi

The competitions will provide a key warm-up for athletes ahead of the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea in September.
