Tehran, March 12, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Wednesday condemned Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera for accusing Iran of Lockerbie explosion as smokescreen campaign at the behest of the Israeli regime.

Amir-Abdollahian said the report was fabricated in line with Zionist regime?s lies.

He said that Iran called on Qatari officials on Tuesday to prevent broadcasting the lies and not to let Zionists use their broadcasting service.

He said that Al-Jazeera has involved in smokescreen service to the Israeli regime in contravention of the criteria the media must respect.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister rebuked the Qatari officials responsible for the broadcasting service for involvement in smokescreen campaign against Iran.

He warned that such irrelevant propaganda by Al Jazeera would damage Tehran-Doha normal relations.

Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran?s anti-terrorism stands are crystal clear.

The propaganda by Al Jazeera English on the eve of Iran-Qatar Joint Political Commission session is surprising.
