Iran may extend talks with sextet for another 6 months

3 Mar 2014 - 14:10

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and the sextet countries will probably extend talks for additional 6 months, the US Alhurra news website said.
Iranian envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi outlined the process of talks between Iran and G5+1, and stressed pursuit of the agreement based on technical negotiations with the agency and political talks with 5+1 as speaking in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting in Vienna.

He also said the talks are likely to be extended for another 6 months.

Iran signed a deal with the 6 countries last November based on which some of the country's nuclear activities were ended for 6 months in return for ease of western sanctions against Iran.
